Philadelphia, May 16—Mrs. Cheesman A Herrick, wife of the retiring president of Girard College, died in Lankenau hospital Thursday. She was a member of the board of directors of the Y. W. C. A., was head of the Missionary Society of the Arch Street Presbyterian Church and was active in charitable work. Her husband, two sons, Curtis J. and Colin J., and a daughter, Mrs. Carelton Talcott of Torrington, Conn,, survive.
