Charles Smith Horne was the youngest child born to Charles H & Elizabeth Johnson Horne. He is located prominently in the Horne-Glatthorn Wedding Photograph of 1896 along with all his siblings, Mother & Dad. Charles worked as a Supervisor at the Lester Piano Works and procured for my Grandfather, Harold Glatthorn, a Job during the Great Depression. Always an upstanding Gentleman Charles Smith was a leader in every way. He and his wife Martha purchased a home on Pohattan Ave in Tinicum where the block was known as "Horne Row". Charles' son and daughter Eddie & Eleanor were of great assistance to me when assembling the Horne Family History of Tinicum Township.
