Daniel "Dan" L. Geneaux , 58, passed away May 25, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born April 20, 1953 in Cleveland to George J. and Maria (Mistaen) Geneaux. Dan was a quality engineer for Shiloh Industries in Valley City for 27 years. He was the assistant scout leader for Troop 500, and was a volunteer firefighter/EMT for the Erhart York Township Fire Department since 1999. Dan loved being a part of Lifespring Community Church in Valley City.
He was the beloved husband of Tereasa S. "Terri" (Howard) for 38 years; loving father of Philip (Amanda) Geneaux of Columbus and Renee (Bill) Plummer of Lodi; devoted son of Maria Geneaux of Pekin, Ill.; dear grandfather of Elizabeth, Emily and Elijah; loving brother of George L. Geneaux of Maryland and Marie (Morris) Wildermuth of Pekin, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, George J. Geneaux, and grandson Ethan J. Plummer. Waite & Son Funeral Home handled arrangements.
