Curtis was a native of Madison County, the son of the late Elley Asia Stocker and Nannie Barlow Sanders Stocker. He was a member of Nicholasville Christian Church and a mechanic. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Wayne and Betty Stocker of Paris and Dan and Beverly Stocker of Nicholasville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Debra and Jerry Carter, Donna and Jerry Doolin, Danny and Crystal Stocker, all of Nich-olasville, and Amie and Scott Robinson of Independence; a stepgranddaughter, Stephanie Lair, great-grandchildren, Lisa and Jessica Carter, Jarrod and Nicholas Doolin, Garrett and Lauren Stocker and Taylor Marie Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Porterfield and the Rev. Jim Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Danny Stocker, Scott Robinson, Jerry, Jarrod and Nicholas Doolin and Jerry Carter. Donations are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass at St. Joseph Hospital.
