Mrs. Hartshorn was born November 4, 1890 at Morrisville, a daughter of Bert and Irene Duhham Green. Her first husband, a salesman was Harry Spoor, who died in 1942. In 1947 she married Mr. Hartshorn. a retired farmer living in Pratts Hollow.
She was graduated from the Eaton high school and the Oneonta State Normal school (now Oneonta State Teachers college) after which she taught elementary grades in Eaton and Mannsville schools. She was a member of the Pratts Hollow Methodist church, the W.S.C.S., the WCTU and the Morrisville O.E.S.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Harry Spoor, Westover, Mass., two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Ruth) Strock, Westwood, N. J. and Mrs. Foster M. (Irene) Dealing, Mannsville; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Francelia) Danehy, Hamilton, and four grandchildren.
