MANUEL SHIFFMAN, 73, of 1402 Tutwiler, retired merchant, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday at home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sam Abraham Memorial Chapel with burial in Baron Hirsch Cemetery. Swift Treadwell & Canale Funeral Directors has charge. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jennie Wolfe Shiffman; a son, Dr. Stephen Shiffman; two daughters, Mrs. Joshua Paller and Mrs. Louis Kirschner; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stern, Mrs. Alex Katz, Mrs. Richard Saul and Miss Thelma Shiffman, all of Memphis, and five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
