TONGANOXIE---Mrs. Dorothy Helen Woodson, 54, Tonganoxie, died Monday in a Lawrence hospital where she was readmitted several days earlier. She had cancer.
She was born June 15,1916, at Williamstown and lived in the Perry community before she moved to Tonganoxie 10 years ago.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Tonganoxie and a member and past matron of Ramona Chapter No.431, Order of the Eastern Star at Perry. She was a member of the Past Matrons Club and the Civic Study Club, both at Tonganoxie, KS

She was married to Wilmer Charles Woodson Jan. 25, 1936, at Baldwin, KS. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann Music, on Okinawa; a son, Randall Lee Woodson, at home; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Hunter, Tonganoxie; five brothers, William A. Hunter, Baldwin, Alfred Hunter, Lawrence, Raymond Hunter and Charles Edgar Hunter, both of Tonganoxie, and Allan F. Hunter, Route 1, Linwood; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the United Methodist Church at Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery south of Tonganoxie. Dorothy will lie in state at Quisenberry Funeral Home at Tonganoxie.
