Thomas Parry came here from Wales and was a farmer. He became a wealthy man living in Lee's Summit Missouri. I was told he was generous and often gave out pennies to the children around town. He was married to Jeanette Calhoun who came here to America from Scotland to marry him, an arrangement made by him and her mother, a woman he met when he arrived here. He liked the mother so much he agreed to marry her daughter. They had several children, I am descended off of Jennie Parry Jones.
