Dr. Austin Flint Quire, born in Lynnville, Iowa, September 15,1869, graduated from Lynnville High School, 1888. he attended Keokuk Medical College in 1898, graduatin from as an M.D. in 1901. Dr. A.F. Quire came back to Lynnville and practiced with his father, Dr. Charles Quire. They had an office above the restaurant, which was next to the old I.O.O.F. building. After his father's death, Dr. Austin Quire had his office in his home until his death, January 22, 1950. Dr. A.F. Quire practiced medicine in Lynnville for forty-nine years.
He was united in marriage to Carrie Margret Smith on February 19, 1905 and out this marriage came the following children: George died 1957, Louise died 1935, Betty Jean died 1928, Dorothy, Ardena (Nelson)
