Caterana Seitz came from the Killian's Creek Settlement, in the S.W. area of Old Rowan (present Catawba Co. and Lincoln Co.) John Henry Seitz, father of Caterna, moved from PA to NC in late 1740s or early 1750s, and settled in Killian's Creek area, where he remained the rest of his life.

Or living with a child. Her parents were Henry Seitz & Dorothea Elizabeth Felisinger she died before 1820
