Mrs. Exie Jane Ammons of Haskell died in a local hospital early Wednesday morning after a short illness. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Allmond, New Orleans; four sons, John J. and Richard C. Ammons, both of Muskogee, Felix J. Ammons, Alluwe, Oklahoma, and Otis E. Ammons, Buena Vista, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Taylor and Mrs. J. L. Stonecypher, both of Haskell, and a brother, David Clayton, also of Haskell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Haskell, of which Mrs. Ammons was a member. Minister Robert E. Myers will officiate and interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery here with the Lescher Funeral Home in charge.

Burial, directed by the Lescher Funeral Home, will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Newt Spencer, C. C. Willos, Sola Wisdom, Earnest Hoover, Mack Eubanks and Wesley Payne, all of Haskell.
