Fannie Lorene Mitchell, 91, of Litchfield died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at Heritage Manor in Litchfield. She was born June 11, 1911, in Litchfield, the daughter of Guy O. and Susie Crawford Bandy. She married Floyd Stanley Mitchell in 1927 in Granite City; he died in 1999. Mrs. Mitchell worked at Brown Shoe Co. and F.W. Woolworth Co. in Litchfield. She also hung wallpaper and painted. She worked for the secretary of state's office and the state Department of Revenue from 1969-81. Survivors: a daughter, Freida (husband, Rex) Trader of Litchfield; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a half brother, Charles Thomas Bandy of Arkansas; and a half sister, Wanda Baker of Litchfield. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Plummer Funeral Home, Litchfield. Burial: Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Hony Bend.
