Jerry T. Howell
Jerry T., age 88, of 1373 Park Ave. SW, passed away Monday Morning in Timken Mercy Hospital.
His death followed a stroke that occurred on December 20, 1973.
Born in New Martinsville, W. Va., he had been a resident of Canton for the past 30 years.
He was a retired employee of Forest Hill Cemetery and a former employee of the Timken Co. He was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and the adult Bible Class.
Survivors include his wife; Mary Etta Howell of the home to whom he was married 63 years on November 17, 1973.
Four daughters; Mrs. James (Clara) Girard and Mrs. John Lee (Ruby) Miller both of Canton, Mrs. Jacob Kathleen) Fuchs of Beallsville, Ohio and Mrs. Okey (Hazel) Newman of Wallace, W. Va. A son: William L. Howell of Waynesburg, Ohio. 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Three half-sisters and a half-brother also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Canton Baptist Temple with Rev. Harold Henniger officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at the Church one hour before service.
