Clarence passed away 31 Oct 2002 at the age of 66 at his residence in Eureka after a battle with cancer. He was born in Eureka 23 May 1936, and was a sixth generation Humboldt County resident. He was an avid fisherman and well known by many on our north-coast rivers.
Riley is survived by his son, Randy and wife Diane of Blue Lake, and his grandchildren: Kyle, and Ryan Baxter and wife Tessa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. Baxter; his mother Annie Baxter-Hannah; and his infant sons, William and Phillip.
A private graveside family service will be held at Hydesville IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Goble's Chapel. Fortuna.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Hospice of Humboldt, 2010 Myrtle Ave, Eureka Ca 95501
