Mrs. Laura Sanders Parks, 74, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burail to follow in Parks Family Tree Cemetery in Attala County.

Mrs. Parks was a member of Bethel Independent Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Sadie Williams Sanders; and brother, Thomas Meek Sanders.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her husband, Charles Parks of Kosciusko; sons, Tony Parks, Alvin Parks, and Alvis Parks all of Kosciusko; daughters, Diane Callahan of Columbus, Jan Hearon, Darlene McAdams both of Ethel, Regina Moore of Barnhert, MO, and Mary Kriby of Columbus; a sister, Martha Lawrence of Kosciusko; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Rev. Johnny Watkins will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be David Holloway, Juston Hearon, Allen Woodson, Christopher Woodson, Joe Kirby, and John Callahan. Honorary Pallbearers include Michael Woodson, Wayne Clemons, Randy Hearon, Jr., Stephen May, Robiie Thornton, Will Newby, Adam Holloway, and Robert Herring.
