Ulysses "Sed" Williams, 70, of Pittsview, AL passed on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. EST, Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Glenville, AL with Rev. Calvin Thomas, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 P.M. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Williams was born December 19, 1940 in Russell County, AL to the late Matthew Williams and the late Jessie B. Williams. He retired from Seaboast Coast Line.
Survivors include wife, Bobbie Ann Williams of Pittsview, AL; two daughters, Delphine D. Williams of Phenix City, AL and La'Shanda (Dorman) Payne of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, David Williams, Sr. of Cleveland, OH; Moses (Lizzie) Williams of Pittsview, AL; Monroe Williams of Columbus, GA and Sammie (Charlotte) Williams of Atlanta, GA; seven sisters, Rosie Marie (Henry) Wright of Nocatee, FL; Patricia Porter of Pittsview, AL; Eddye M. Jacobs of Columbus, GA; Mollye Clayton of Orlando, FL; Jessie B. Woods of Columbus, GA; Mary E. (Sampson) Hoskins of Nocatee, FL and Bernice (Ronald) Graham of LeHigh Acres, FL; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
