Lorree Norris Rutherford , 72, of Silverford Heights, Mount Union, died unexpectedly at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 1975 at Lewistown Hospital. Born December 15 1902 at Mount Union, she was a daughter of Herman and Katie (Cassidy) Norris. On April 16, 1924, she married John R. Rutherford in Huntingdon. Surviving are her widower and two children, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Heaps, Columbia, Md. and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Zeigler, Gettysburg. There are two grandsons, Richard and Robert Zeigler. Mrs. Rutherford left two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Martha Bard and Mrs. William (Ona) Naugle, both of Mount Union. Lewis, Longview, Tex. and Leroy, Mechanicsburg. Two sisters preceded in death. The deceased was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Union. For approximately 10 years she was associated with her husband in the operation of the Dairy Queen store at Huntingdon. Interment will be in the Mount Union IOOF Cemetery.
