She married Raymond Schueren on July 12, 1949 at St Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen (Carver), MN.

Schueren, Gladys H. (Kerber) Age 86, of Chaska. Went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2011. She was born January 3, 1925 in Chanhassen Twsp. to Dennis and Pauline (Diethelm) Kerber, one of eleven children. She was baptized, confirmed, and married Raymond Schueren on July 12, 1949 at St. Hubert's Catholic Community, Chanhassen. She is a graduate of Chaska High School. She was past President of St. Elizabeth's Sewing Circle. As a part of St. Elizabeth's Sewing Circle she embroidered many dish towels. She is a charter member of the Homebound Group from St. Hubert's. Preceding her in death was her husband Raymond. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Lynn) Simpson, Sandra Brooks, Ann (John) Norton, Kris Schueren; grandchildren, Anna, Katie, Nick and Diane; brothers, Jim Kerber, Gilbert (Elsie) Kerber, Robert (Rita) Kerber Richard (Mary Lou) Kerber, Leon (Marlene) Kerber; sisters, Corrine (Norbert) Theis, Doris Theis, Ruth (Lee) Schmidt; sister-in-law, Bernie Kerber; special friends, Pat Blake, Joanne Gaytko and Mary Stutelberg. Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, 11:00 AM at St Hubert's Catholic Community, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Although the obituary states Gladys' funeral mass was held at St Hubert's Catholic Church in Chanhassen, she was buried next to her husband, Raymond, at Guardian Angel's Catholic Cemetery in Chaska.
