Norbert E. stationed at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 1981-1993, passed away September 18, 2002, in Liguori, MO, dear brother of Catherine Jones, Rita Briesch, and the late Mathias Sr., John, Richard, Nicholas, Marie Braswell and Josephine Staudt. Visitation at Herdegen-Brieske Funeral Home, 1356 W. Wellington Ave., 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Rev. Delort will lay-in-state at St. Alphonsus Church, Saturday, 9 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. Interment Villa Redeemer Cemetery. 773-525-0178.

While visiting the cemetery I was joined by a groundskeeper who shared with me that he knew Fr. Delort and that he was and will always be the last buried in this cemetery. This property is for sale and the cemetery will most likely be taken over and maintained by The Groves Park District facility. They are working out issues of access now.
