Stephanie Mirabile, 91, formerly of Ware, MA, and of Las Cruces, NM, died Friday, May 27, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society of Las Cruces, NM, where she was lovingly cared for by many special people. She was born in Ware, MA to the late Walter and Honora (Kulchic) Rolla, and was married over 50 years to Santo Mirabile. Prior to his death in 1992, they were the owners of Mirabile's Restaurant. They also spent many years working together as owners of apartment buildings in Ware, and were known as a great team and best friends. When they danced together they lit up the room! Throughout her life, Stephanie was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Ware where she and Santo were married, were choir members, and where Stephanie's life will be celebrated on June 7, 2011. Stephanie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Lari) of TX, Mark (Carol) of FL, and Richard (Jane) of ME; daughter, Nora (Phil) of New Mexico, and daughter-in-law, Jean of FL. Also surviving her are greatly loved (20) grandchildren, (24) great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Rolla, Julie Rolla and Alma Rolla, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Santo, son, Ronald, brothers Stanley (Red), Joe, Matt, and Tony Rolla and sister, Mary Szczgiel. Funeral Services for Stephanie will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 9:30 AM from the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South St., Ware. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, 60 South St., Ware. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday Morning prior to the funeral mass from 8:30 - 9:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Stephanie's name to: St. Mary's School, South & Charles Sts., Ware, MA 01082.
