Mrs. Annie Wade Cook, 88-year-old Kosciusko resident, died Oct. 29, 1986, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital following an illness of two months.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. The Rev. Jack Nabors and the Rev. Wasson officiated.
Mrs. Cook, a native of Attala County, had taught school in Holmes and Choctaw Counties and had also worked as a nurse’s aide. She was the widow of Erskin J. Cook and was a former resident of the Chapel Hill Community. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Wasson and Mrs. Alice Rushing of Kosciusko; a daughter-in-1aw, Mrs. Beatrice Cook, also of Kosciusko; three grandchildren, Mrs. Mary Ann Stotts of Lexington, Mrs. Nelvia Agnew of Lincoln, Nebraska and Melvin Cook of Kosciusko; and seven great-grandchildren
Pallbearers were Billie Wasson, David Wasson, Cary Wasson, Willie Mac Blaine, Edward Earl Blaine and Bill Cummins.
