Sir,
I enclose two powers of Attorney by James MaGill executor of Margaret MGee to draw her pension from 4 Mar 1843 to Mar 4 1844 and also from 4 Mar 1844 to 3 Nov, the day of her death--The Pension Certificate accompanies them--

You will observe there is evidently a clerical in the date of one of the powers being 1844 instead of 1845.

The party has requested me to send them to you to ascertain whether the Pension agent here may pay the money on both or either or whether they must go back to be rectified

I am respectfully
[your Servant?] P. Agt. G B Tewnlas[3]
