Mrs. Etta Weaver, wife of Mr. Jeremiah Weaver, at 9.30 o’clock yesterday morning, at her home, 216 Walnut avenue. She had been a sufferer for some time with heart trouble and yesterday morning was seized with the attack which resulted in her death. Deceased was a daughter of John S. and Elizabeth Woomer and was born in California, March 22, 1954. For the past twelve years she has been a resident of Altoona. Surviving her are the husband and eight children -- James, Miles, Elmer, Wilber, Iona, Manie, Myrtle and Vintie, all of Altoona. Her father lives at Bald Eagle. Four brothers and two sisters survive. She was a member of Camp 40, Patriotic Order of Americans. Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow evening at 8 o’clock and the remains will be taken to Bald Eagle on the 11.40 a.m. train. A daughter, Iona, who is also a sufferer from heart trouble, was prostrated by the sudden death of her mother and is in a serious condition. Two physicians are in attendance.
