Mrs. Adaline Dilley Dies Here After A Prolonged Illness
A resident of Kankakee for many years, Mrs. Adaline Dilley, 356 East Chestnut street died at her home Wednesday after a prolonged illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 o'clock at the Phillips, Friday and Schreffler Funeral home with Christian Science services. Interment will be in Mound Grove cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of the service on Saturday.
The deceased was born in Winterset, IA.,[wrong location] on Feb. 12, 1860, and moved to Kankakee 13 years later[maybe 23 years later]. In 1892[should be 1898], she married George Dilley. Surviving are her husband, a brother, Dallas Haymond of Kersey, Colo., and a sister Wray Haymond of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mrs. Dilley was affiliated with the Christian Science church, the Women's Relief corps and Rebekah lodge.
