Lafayette Bingham married first Rebekah Baker on 30 Jun 1846, in Claiborne County, Tennessee. Together they had 7 children that I know of:

Elizabeth Bignham the eldest child born abt 1847 is seen in the 1850 Knox Co., Ky Census. Elizabeth doesn't appear in the 1860 Knox County, Ky Census. I presume she died prior because I don't find a marriage record. Even if she married prior to 1860 she would have been as old as 13 if her birth year is correct.

Lafayette Bingham married second Mary J Baker on 26 Jul 1875 in Knox County, Kentucky. Together they had 8 children that I know of:

Effie Bingham Ward Just a note on the husband of Effie Bingham Ward. John T was living when Effie passed; John was living in the 1920 Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co., Census with Thomas McMullen & family. Thomas is the brother to Nellie McMullen Bingham. In 1910 Little River, Cleveland, Oklahoma Joh & Effie's daughter Juel is living with her mom's sister Luda Bingham Wilson.

Luda Bingham Wilson Thank you Kim Poyner Woodhouse for posting the obituary of Luda Bingham Wilson for this family.

Eula Bingham born Jan 1884 Knox Co., Ky is living in the 1930 Paden, Okfuskee, Oklahoma Census. Eula married Harry W McMullen; Together they had 10 children that I know of.

In the obituary for son Oliver Bingham it states in 1889 he made land run to Norman Oklahoma along with his parents. This is the first of information that I found explaining how/why the family moved. Thank you Kim Poyner Woodhouse for posting the obituary of Oliver Bingham for this family.
