She was the widow of Frank Dean.

Obituary:

Margaret Nunly logan Dean was born in Smith Center on November 25, 1894 to James F. Logan and Mary Oliver Logan, and died in San Diego, california, July 21, 1981.
She was the youngest of 6 children. The family moved to a farm south of Mingo.
Following the death of her mother, the family moved to Colby, where she grew up in the home of her sister, Mrs. Jessie (C.V.) Parrott. She graduated from High School in 1914 and then taught for several years in the county schools.
She was married to Frank Dean of Gem on Novemvber 24, 1919. They moved to a farm north of Gem.
The couple had 2 sons, Jack Logan Dean and James Francis Dean. Later the family moved to Colby where Mr. Dean was a Sheriff for 4 years.
In 1947 they moved to Oberline, then to San Diego, California in 1967. In 1969 their son, James, was lost at sea. Mr. Dean died in a Veteran's hospital in 1973. Jack also preceded his mother in death.
Survivors include 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, California.
