She was a member of South Harborcreek United Methodist Church. She previously served as manager of Nature Food Centres for several years. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and bowling.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Wallace and Leslie Akerly; and a sister, Hazel Hinkler.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Charles L. Weindorf; three daughters, Carol Smith and her husband, Larry, of Harborcreek, Christine Parker and her husband, Joseph, of Harborcreek, and Peggy Ketchel of Harborcreek; two sons, John Weindorf of Millcreek Township and David Weindorf and his wife, Sandy, of Spring, Texas; a sister, Virginia Bannister of Erie; three brothers, Leon Akerly and Marvin Akerly, both of Harborcreek, and N. Robert Akerly of North East; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
