Albertie Sherman was the second oldest child of Clark and Rosaline McNitt Sherman; born June 10, 1872 at the family home at Sans Souci, Coldwater Lake, Michigan; Known to her family as "Bertie," she was a homemaker and lived her life in California, Michigan. Married Lewis Cass on 30 July 1892 in Coldwater, Branch Co, Michigan. Bertie was 40 years old at the time of her death from gastric cancer on February 14, 1913.
