SOUTHINGTON - Alice (Derynioski) Dutton, 85, formerly of Vermont Ave., passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clayton Dutton.
Born in Southington on Jan. 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Dembishack) Derynioski. Prior to her retirement she was the principal secretary at DePaolo Middle School, she was secretary to John Pyne, Joseph DePaolo and Gene Leon. She was devoted to her work and education.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Duane George, Karen and Robert Paradis, and Marcia and Lee Elliott; 12 loving grandchildren; and 12 cherished great-grandchildren; a brother ,John Derynioski. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Dutton. Alice dedicated her life to her family, her family was her life.
The funeral was held on Tuesday at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Immaculate Conception Church. Burial was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
