Mrs. Maria Ricci, 91, of Cedar Point, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday in IVC Hospital where she was admitted at noon.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Prey Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. The Rev. Denis Mackessy and the Rev. Larry Sepich will officiate at a con-celebrated Mass. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Prey Funeral Home, Oglesby, with a rosary at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Ricci was born March 6, 1891, in Bologna, Italy, to Eugene and Rita Ugacioni Guerrini. She married Virgilio Ricci in Italy. They immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Cedar Point in 1911.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Clara Bartoli of Lostant, Mrs. John (Anne) Biolchini of Oglesby and Mrs. Patrick (Emma) Sherry of Lomita, Calif.; a son, Joseph Ricci of Detroit, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Pia Perfetti of Gillespie, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961; three brothers and a sister.
