Pearl E. "Betty" Gent, 81, of Oakmont, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006. Wife of the late William C. Campbell Jr. and Virgil L. Gent. Mother of the late William C. Campbell III and Robert A. "Gus" and Gary L. Gent. Sister of Oliver, Archie and John Black, Agnes Smith, Lois Hodil and the late Lucille McAdams, Margaret Marsella, Mary Alice Tishey, Carolyn Widenhofer and Elma Zang. Daughter of the late Archibald and Mary Kelly Black. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the ENGLISH-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont. Services at 11 a.m. Friday in Oakmont United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakmont United Methodist Church or Presbyterian SeniorCare.
