Mildred L. Karns
Mildred L. Karns, 82, died Aug. 13, 2003, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis and a former resident of the Detroit area.
She was born March 29, 1921, in Twelve Mile. Her parents were Alfred and Edith (Fivecoate) Bockover. She married Glenn Karns. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a brother, Daniel Bockover of Wilmington, Del.; two sisters, Jane Harman and Mary Roser Billiard, both of Indianapolis; and a nephew.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Aug. 30 at Greenwood Cemetery. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Indianapolis is handling arrangements.
