Giuseppa Morici father was Filippo and whose mother was Rosalia Antonacci. She was born in San Lorenzo,Palermo Sicily on 15 August 1857. Lost her father as young child
Immigration records , death certificate and burial records list her as Guiseppa Morici
Bore at least nine children while still in Italy . Only six survived infancy
At age 47 traveled to America to join Giavanni Albano. He had emigrated back in 1903 with their three oldest children. She arrived on Ellis Island on May 15th 1905 sailing on the Sicilian Prince traveling as Giuseppa "Morici" . She was accompanied by their three youngest children.
Died in the Harlem Italian Sanitorium from complications from surgery for cervical cancer.
Prior to her death husband, Giovanni Albano returned to Italy. She was buried in a donated and unmarked grave under her maiden name. Death Certificate was originally filed in error as Giuseppa "Marici" (with an "A" instead of "O") NYC certificate# 29809 Manhattan.
