Shelbyville—Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. W. R. Killen, mother of Mrs. J. H. Inman. She died at her home in Knox City Tuesday afternoon. Surviving are five other children.

DEATH OF MRS. KILLEN.
Mrs. Eliza J. Killen of Knox City, the widow of William R. Killen, and one of the oldest residents of Knox county, where she lived the greater part of her life, died at about 5:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the age of 86 years. She had been ill only about a month.
Funeral services were held at the Knox City Christian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Coil, of St Louis. Burial was in the Knox City cemetery.
Surviving are six children: Lulu Ellen and Mrs. J. H. Inman, of Shelbyville; and the following, of Knox City: Margaret Ann, Mrs. E. L. Davis, Mary Elsie, Mrs. M. J. Boltz, Newton T., Robert E. and L. Carson Killen. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
As Eliza J. Hubble, Mrs. Killen was born in Virginia [sic] July 24 [sic], 1846 [sic]. She came to Knox county in 1858 and spent the rest of her life here. She married Mr. Killen January 26, 1868 and to them were born seven children, those mentioned as surviving, and Clara Elizabeth, who died at the age of four years. Mr. Killen died October 11, 1925.
Mrs. Killen joined the Antioch Christian church when she was fifteen years old under the ministry of the Rev. B. F. Northcutt. — Edina Sentinel.
