KILLEN-McGINNIS.
Miss Catherine McGinnis, living east of Edina, and Carson Killen, of Knox City, were married in Edina, at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev. D. J. Donovan, at the parochial residence, says the Sentinel.
The attendants were Miss Loretto McGinnis and Delbert F. McGinnis, sister and brother of the bride.
The bride was attired in a cherry blossom Georgette dress and a hat and accessories to harmonize. The bridesmaid wore a Quimper blue crepe dress with accessories to match.
Mrs. Killen is the second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McGinnis, living east of town, and Mr. Killen is the youngest son of Mrs. L. Killen, of Knox City. He served overseas during the World War and is a member of the American Legion.
After the marriage ceremony a three-course, 6 o'clock dinner was served for the bridal party at the home of the bride's parents, after which the newly married couple left on a brief wedding trip to St. Louis. Upon their return they will live in Knox City.

CARSON KILLEN BURIED HERE
Former Knox City Man Died in St. Mary Hospital Sunday.

Funeral services were held here at St. Joseph Church Tuesday morning for Carson Killen of Quincy, who died suddenly at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at St. Mary Hospital, Quincy. Burial was in Edina.
Mr. Killen was born Sept. 13, 1890, near Knox City and had he lived a week longer would have been 52 years old. He was the youngest son of William and Eliza Killen.
He united with the Christian Church at Knox City in 1906, and was a veteran of World War I, volunteering in April, 1917, and served until the end of the war.
In 1926 he was married to Miss Katherine McGinnis of Edina. To this union was born one son, Billy. He leaves his wife and son of Quincy; two brothers, R. E. and N. T. Killen, Jr., of Knox City; three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Davis and Mrs. Melvin Boltz of Knox City and Mrs. J. H. Inman, of LaPlata, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in Edina at St. Joseph Church Tuesday morning and burial was in Edina.
