Dallas Gober was born February 15, 1919 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi the son of the late George Mitchell Gober and Lennie Mae McCullough Gober.

He was united in marriage to Jewell Black on May 23, 1975.

Mr. Gober was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Lorraine, OH. He was a member of the Little Chapel Pentecostal Church in Selmer, Tennessee and a World War II U. S. Navy Veteran.

Mr. Gober departed this life on Friday, May 13, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 2 Months, 28 Days.

He is survived by his wife Jewell Gober of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Shelby Jean Darlington and husband Bill of Debary, FL; two sons, Dennis Ray Gober and wife Linda of Pontotoc, MS, Mike Gober and wife Connie of Elyria, OH; three sisters, Mae Jean Dillard of Ecru, MS, Jettie Bell Beasley and husband Billy of Tupelo, MS, Christine Griffin of Pontotoc, MS; two brothers, Frank Oliver Gober of Cullman, AL, Dual Gober and wife Mamie of Nettleton, MS; two sisters-in-law, Annette Gober of Pontotoc, MS, Jean Gober of Cincinatti, OH; 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gober was preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Ernal Louise Tidwell; a sister, Dovie Pannell; two brothers, Everette Gober, Lester Gober.
