Mrs. Anna Kuss Gebhardt, 71, of 68 Radford St., died yesterday at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx after a short illness. She was the widow of Herbert L. Gebhardt, former president of the Yonkers Letter Carriers Association and the New York State Association of Letter Carriers for many years before he died in 1956.

A native of Yonkers, Mrs. Gebhardt was the daughter of the late Frederick and Annie Kuss. She attended Yonkers schools and was married to Mr. Gebhardt 50 years ago. A member of the Rebekah Lodge of Odd Fellows, she was the first president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Parsons-Gebhardt Branch of Letter Carriers. She was a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church in Getty Square.

Mrs. Gebhardt is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Birch of Yonkers and Mrs. Frederick (Gladys) Reimers of Westfield, N. J.; a son, Robert Gebhardt of Yonkers; two sisters, Mrs. George (Dora) Wallin and Mrs. Joseph (Esther) Nitsch and a brother, George Kuss, all of Yonkers; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Yonkers Funeral Home Inc., 257 South Broadway at Highland Avenue on Monday, September 16 at 2:00 P.M. Interment, Oakland Cemetery. the family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2-5 and 7-10:00 PM
