From Jewel Beth Anderson---I want this to be on this page. George Wilgus Francis of Owasso, passed away June 14, 2011 in Collinsville. He was 69. George was born March 27, 1942 in Grove, OK to Ralph Dexter and Ella Belle (Markle) Francis. He married Pauline Jo Beaver on June 5, 1964 in Anderson, MO. Together they raised three children.
George worked as a Computer Analyst for Amoco until his retirement. He enjoyed playing the guitar, writing gospel songs, and working in his vegetable garden. He also taught Photoshop and Graphic Design at the Tulsa Tech Lemley Campus.
George is survived by his wife Jo of the home; three children, Kevin Francis,Gregory Francis, and Betsy Anderson. He also had one sister, named Joan Pendleton. Also he had seven grandsons, Jeffrey, Jesse, Austin, Alex, Lawrence, Ashtin and Ethan. Had one granddaughter named Jewel Beth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
