Funeral services for R. A. (Buddy) Ferguson 76, of Mexia will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in Blair – Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Brad Brittain will officiate with interment to follow in LaSalle Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 6 – 8 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.

Mr. Ferguson was born September 16, 1930 in Freestone County to Arthur Everett and Lola Inez McClaran Ferguson and passed away on May 13, 2007 at his residence. He Was a farmer, rancher and barber and served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia and VFW,

He is survived by his wife, Martha Agnes (Aggie) Ferguson of Mexia, son, Steve Ferguson of Mexia, daughter, Rhonda Jarrell of Mexia, daughter, Lisa Stone of Brownwood, Texas, Daughter, Sharon Hawthorn of Buffalo, Son, Gary Bell of Port Lavaca and daughter; Bennie Gardiner of Mexia; grandchildren: Amber Bass, Brandon Ferguson, Windy Jarrell, Chad Jarrell, Jermey Stone, Jered Stone, Jason Stone, Robert Beard, Chris Hawthorn, Marshall Bell, Lindsey McFall, and Clayton Gardiner, 10 great grandchildren; Sisters: Chelsia Taylor of Mexia, Lola Mae Ferguson of Mexia and Pat Buyher of Kilgore and brother, Cleve Ferguson of Groesbeck.
