Mrs. Isaac S. Brohard
Mrs. Vernecie B. Brohard, 85, Bristol, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, March 5, in a local nursing home following an extended illness.
She was born June 4, 1892, on Colburn's Fork, a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Brown Childers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac S. Brohard in 1926.
She is survived by two brothers, Hoy Childers, Bristol and Denzil Childers, Salem; three nephews, Edward Childers, Morgantown, Edison Childers, Clarksburg, and Lynn Childers, Buckhannon; two nieces; Mrs. Wilda Seckman, Salem, Mrs. Juanita Spinney, Beaumont, Texas.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Matthey; one stepdaughter, Hazel Childers; and one stepson, Howard Brohard.
Mrs. Brohard attended the Meadow Valley United Methodist Church.
