Sarah Faul, 70, died Jan. 21 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. Services were conducted January 25 at the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church with the Rev. Jared Burkholder officiating. Burial was in the Gnadenau Cemetery.


She was born Sarah Fast on July 8, 1911, at Mountain Lake, Minn. On July 12, 1957 she married Harry Faul at Mountain Lake. They moved to Hillsboro in 1968 and he died September 20, 1972. She was secretary of the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church WIMS, where she was a member, and also served on the Etcetera Shop board.


Survivors include one stepson, James of Newton; one brother, Henry, of Henderson, Neb.; four sisters, Mrs. Ed W. (Marie) Hein of Hillsboro, Mrs. Jake (Helen) Wiebe of Mountain Lake, Mrs. Pete (Elsie) Buller of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Henry (Rosella) Derksen of Kansas City, Missouri; and two grandchildren.


A memorial has been established for Mennonite Brethren Missions.
