David Thomas Allen, 3-month-old son of Dr. W. Benson and Rosemary Allen, 2198 N. Yellowstone Ave., died suddenly at the family home Wednesday evening.
Dr. Allen is a bishop of the 9th LDS Ward.
The attending physician said death was due to natural but unknown causes. Mrs. Allen put the baby to bed at 5:30 p.m. when he appeared sleepy. She went in to check on him 20 minutes later and found him dead.
The boy was born Nov. 28, 1958 in Los Angeles, Calif.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters and a brother, Lorraine, Wendy Susan and Kenneth Benson; and the grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Allen of Idaho Falls.
