A daughter of Elmer and Elizabeth Franz Dingman, she was born March 23, 1905, in Warren County.
Mrs. Dean was a Democratic committee woman in West Mead Twp., a member of the Democratic Women's Federation of West Crawford County, the Harm Jan Huidekoper Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Ladies Auxiliary to West Mead No. 2 Fire Department.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Delos L. Dean, are six sons, Lloyd E. Mead Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., Neil L. Stainbrook of Fort Monroe, Va., Charles H. Stainbrook of Twinsburg, O.; Elmer C. Stainbrook of Meadville, David L. Stainbrook of Carmel Valley, Calif., and Edmund D. Dean of Meadville; two brothers, Wilbur Dingman of Westford and Philip Dingman of Canadohta Lake; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was made in Greendale Cemetery. The Charles R. Hatheway Funeral Home, Meadville, was in charge of arrangements.
