Pearl was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1938. She worked for Johns-Manville Corporation, formerly of Alexandria in the Employee Relations Department for 28 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Alexandria, Daughters of Isabella and the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club. She was a former Girl Scout leader at St. Mary's Church for several years.
