Lynn L. Smith, age 81, of Lansing, Michigan,formerly of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away at his home. He was born the son of Vern W. and Maggie Mae (Robinson) Smith on February 12, 1917 in Winn, Michigan.
Lynn was married to Bertha E. Williams on December 31, 1945 in Fowlerville. They were married 52 years. Lynn retired from Fisher Body of Lansing in 1975 after 30 years of service. He farmed in Fowlerville since retiring. Lynn was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lansing and a life member of the Mason Masonic Lodge #70 F. & A.M.
Surviving Relatives include: 2 daughters: Sandy (Larry) Theisen of Dimondale; Cindy Smith of Lansing; 1 son: Duane Smith of Holt; and 2 granddaughters: Monica Theisen of Westland and Melissa Theisen of Dimondale.
He was preceded in Death by his parents and his wife, Bertha. Funeral services were held Friday, January 15, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Liverance Funeral Home of Fowlerville. Rev. Judy Nielsen of Faith United Methodist Church of Lansing officiated. The burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville.
