She married (2) JAN HENDRIK HUISJEN 12 May 1906, son of ARENDJAN HUISJEN and HENDRIKJE MEPPELINK. He was born 21 Jun 1881 in Ommen, Overijssel, Netherlands, and died 23 Apr 1934 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MI, USA.
Cornelia was my great grandmother whom I, unfortunately, never got to meet as she died before I was born. Her son, Benjamin Boerman, was my grandfather. He died in 1937 of peritonitis due to a ruptured appendix. My grandmother, Leona Boerman, told me that Cornelia was a great lady. My grandmother and my mother used to go visit her in Grand Rapids and Cornelia would come out to California where Leona and family lived from time to time. They always enjoyed their visits together.
