She was born at Kilgore Jan. 4, 1904, daughter of George and Caroline Anderson Allen. The family moved to Spencer where she attended grade school. Her father operated the mercantile store at Spencer for many years. In 1920 they moved to Dubois where she attended high school.
She was married to L. Ward Beagles March 22, 1924, at Dubois. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1936. Mr. Beagles, who was a railroad man, died in 1973.
Survivors are a son, John A. Beagles of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. John (Wilma) Bloodworth of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren; and sisters, Bessie Allen of Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Lucille Oakley of Coeur d'Alene.
