Biological daughter of John Ross Archibald (a/k/a Ross Archibald ; mother's name isn't certain yet to this contributor although it may be a Mary Reed Archibald, whose burial location has been elusive to find (died about 1905/1906). There is a family tree(s; there are several) on Ancestry.com that includes Cora Belle Archibald, and provides some insight into the Archibald family, but Goldie's biological status isn't clearly defined as to the mother on those trees either. There are photos of the Archibald family, however, so those may be of interest to those interested in/related to that family.

Goldie's natural father died in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1955 and he is buried at Cedar Memorial Park cemetery there with his second wife Maud.

-----
Per information in her obituary (shown on this memorial), Goldie was generally raised at an early age and later formally adopted as a daughter of Charles A Anderson and Cora Belle Archibald Anderson (her aunt). For that reason, they are linked as parents, with the link above made for her natural father Ross Archibald.

-----
Note: The headstone is engraved "Goldie May", while the obituary uses "Goldie Mae". Will use the headstone spelling pending any clarification. Goldie is buried in the plot that has her adoptive parents, Charles and Cora Anderson.

-----
Siblings:
John Earl Archibald

Guy Frank Archibald
