An automobile mechanic for more than 40 year at
the former Anaconda Wire and Cable Co. in Hastingson-
Hudson, Mr. Hryckanych retired about seven years
ago.
'He was a graduate of Yonkers public schools and a
U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He
was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate
Conception (St. Mary's).
Mr. Hryckanych married the former Stella Rock
on May 5, 1937 in Yonkers. She died in 1975.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Wrobleski,
of Yonkers, and Estelle Hryckanych, of Pound
Ridge, N.Y.; a brother, John, of White Plains; and one
grandson.
