*Family Bible Records say he died on Wake Island. Further research indicates he did not.
According to a report by Claude D. Howes, Knudt Farstvedt died on Kyushu Island, Sasebo Camp # 18, on March 26, 1943 from Worms. Mr. Howes indicates he was buried near a Dam, (probably at Soto Dam, later disinterred and returned to the U.S.?) They were taken from Wake Island on September 30, 1942 (Tashibana Maru) arrived at Sasebo Camp # 18 on Oct. 13, 1842.
